Essilor Vision For Life was one of the sponsors of French charity Secours Populaire’s 70 year anniversary at the Champ-de-Mars in Paris that brought together 70,000 “forgotten children” from 70 countries for one unforgettable day of fun.
This one-of-a-kind event saw one hundred volunteers from the Essilor Group screen more than a thousand disadvantaged children for vision impairment. It was also the opportunity to raise awareness on the importance of healthy vision with the thousands of people present.
The partnership between Essilor Vision for Life and Secours Populaire began in 2014 with the aim to integrate visual health into the range of support the charity provides for people faced with problems of social exclusion.
