Recently our 2.5 New Vision Generation (2.5 NVG) inclusive business teams in Cambodia and Indonesia resumed vision screening activities for the first time after the COVID-19 imposed hiatus. These events were conducted in accordance with local health and safety regulations.
In Cambodia, we provided free vision screening for more than 300 students and lecturers from the University of Heng Samrin Thbongkhmum over two days. Almost 100 of those screened needed glasses and were offered the option to purchase them from 2.5 NVG at subsidized rates.

In Indonesia, we collaborated with Life Project 4 Youths (LP4Y) and Akademi Refraski Optisi (ARO) on a small-scale vision screeening event, targeting 50 people in underserved communities, most of them labourers or housemakeers. Over 50% of them needed glasses and either received them for free or at discounted rates.
