The Vision Impact Institute (VII) commissions, collects and communicates evidence-based research to drive awareness about the impact of uncorrected vision and advocates for healthy vision as a global priority for policy-makers.
VII aims to be the voice of vision and mobilise a worldwide movement on healthy vision by gathering and communicating information to government policy makers, optical industry associates and the general public. It offers a unique database of global peer-reviewed reports and studies to build evidence on the need for vision correction and protection.
VII engages key opinion leaders worldwide to build coalitions, partnerships, and collaborations that help put healthy vision on the global agenda. It also advocates for visual health related action (eye screening, eye examination, provision of optical correction, policy change) to improve the lives of people around the world.
