I applied for the EBoP Fellowship because…

During these six months, I am…

I was based in Bangalore, India where I worked on the business model optimization of the Eye Mitra program. Following that, I shifted my focus to Kenya, transferring my learnings to the Eye Rafiki program.

With this fellowship, I want to….

I hope to spend a lot of time on-the-ground and gain first-hand experience on the challenges and opportunities that the BoP sector face today.

After the fellowship, I will be…

I want to continue to work in the development space, ideally in a social business context.

So something interesting about me…

I am a certified bartender as I enjoy trying new cocktails and exploring new recipes. My all-time favorite is the “Manhattan”, since it reminds me of my time in New York where I developed this hobby!
